Also Boney, if you want some comforting alt country Vaxi/Clover's rec Dogwood Tales is worth a try - not a million miles from Richmond Fontaine, somewhere between a 3.5 and a 4 rating from me.

Best 'new to me' album I've spun so far this year is still Cat Power's 'Moon Pix' though, that's an absolute classic.
Top 30 of all time no problem, and top 'female artist' album of all time too. It's something I've wanted to find for a long time.
I don't like the rest of her stuff that I've tried so far anywhere near as much though.

I feel she sounds far more liberated and agressive on this one. The way she belts out in Electra is stunning.
