if you want an outsider's perspective (never listened to this band before this album) it's damn good and really smooooooth

smoooooooth is right. second half is a warm glass of milk away from me taking a nap. sad to say this is probably their weakest yet 😞
check their other stuff some time conmaniac

Album Rating: 3.5
Conmaniac I was going to say the same...I also think that who says this guy can't sing, or this is not singing or not music is watching to much X factor, The Voice etc...considering to rate this 3.5 or 4. Reminds me somehow a bit of protomartyr's last release. Different but with the same nick cave's vibe. pretty cool this one.

pretty sure no one who sputniks regularly watches x factor or the voice

Album Rating: 3.5
nice thing to defend sputniks in general...it was an easy comparison to get a point. sorry all sputniks
|
| |
x factor and the voice are still around?
|

Album Rating: 3.5
I pretty sure they are, and with some pretty great singers there, according to some experts :D:D always in tune, pretending and imitating every single someone else's emotions.

Album Rating: 3.0
I think it's more people have got used to what this singer sounds like and as a result this more exaggerated style comes across as a conscious statement...and possibly a little over affected :/
I'm actually happier with the singin' than the songs

Album Rating: 3.0 | Sound Off
I think the appeal here is that these guys make really relatable music.. I mean, I also live in a room inside the world.. hits me right in the gut
