It's better than their last one because at least there are some moments of actual inspiration here seemingly but someone should of told these guys it doesn't matter how many things you throw at the wall if none of them stick. Also I hate the stupid post chorus thing they do with a electronic noodle riff while Patrick repeats the last line of the chorus thereby rendering it extra grating.

I dig some of the songs here but overall it is a weak record . I loved the previous 2 albums though . This album sounds more computerized . Also too much auto tune . The vocalist has great vocals . I don't understand why using auto tune too much ....

some alright moments here and there but overall this is pretty average. not any worse than their last album, but not any better. i just wish everytime these guys dropped an album, they wouldn't go out of their way to claim it's going to be "totally different to what we did last", when they've been releasing the same album over and over. riptide is easily the best thing here, that backwards lyric though, what the FUCK were they thinking?

Patrick sounds better than ever on here. Stay Frosty is a great album opener! Only track I don't really like is Sunshine Riptide.

What? Sunshine riptide and last of the real ones are the initial album highlights for me. I have mixed feelings on this. Definitely better than the last album, probably equal to save rock and roll for me. I just can’t comprehend what happened to this band post Folie

Heaven's Gate is spectacular
Easily their best post-hiatus album but that's extremely faint praise

Last of the Real Ones is an album highlight for me too. There's just something about Sunshine Riptide that turns me off. My favourites are Church, Heaven's Gates, Last of the Real Ones and Stay Frosty (opens the album with a bang).

I’m going to just assume 93Mike is an alt and this is going to turn into another fucking That’s The Spirit thread where all the alts come out to play.
