I love this and part of me wants to give it a 4.5 but I hand those out like fucking candy sometimes so ima give it a bit
fucking great album though, always nice to hear that there are still a few non-Cult of Luna/Amenra/Neurosis bands out there still making solid post-metal (loosely defined)

I tend to feel as though these guys are carrying Fall of Efrafa's mantle. Not entirely the same sound, but similar soundscapes to FoE's concluding album.

Yeah, well...honestly none of Alex CF's projects (bar Anopheli's The Ache of Want) have really captured me in the same sense that Efrafa's trilogy did. Locktender's work strikes a similar chord for me, bearing an emotional resonance I'm not entirely sure permeate Alex's later albums.
