I'd like them to move back away from this style, where the guitar is more in the foreground. They're not really great riff-writers to begin with and I can't say I'm a huge fan of the guitar tone on the last two albums.

agreed. they're much better at the subtle tremolo riffs in the background

then again they killed it with those staccato riffs in LMHSYF

also this is a huge grower. even Silvertine is growing on me despite that blatant Caradhras ripoff horn melody

you all need to listen to between light and darkness and realize the sheer beauty that is lugburz

OMD is my favourite closely followed by Dol Guldur and Oath Bound

Oh, somebody used their EQs too much. I hate sound of this album, i cant listen it on any of my headphones, too much presence for me. It is sad, i like the ideas on this one...

Lugburz is too proto for me I'm afraid

Kudos to who wrote this. Production isn't something that normally gets under my skin, but in the case of this album it was glaringly poor.
