I think this album would be the worst place to start. It's a less interesting version of the one before this. That said, this one and the one before this will give you the best idea of what to expect from their set live. A Voice Within is the one that least sounds like they do now since it has vocals. I would say start with their In Time ep. That release is just exquisite and gorgeous. To me it is their best for sure. They still play some tracks from it live.

Yeah I can get down with these guys. Listened to a couple tracks at work today and was not disappointed. They have some pretty solid jams, I’ll probably dig more into it over the weekend.

I am genuinely surprised at the amount of people who don't like this album. It's written well, good catchy lead lines, decent amount of proggy/jazziness, and there really aren't any particularly boring songs. Solid record all the way through. Not amazing or anything but definitely just a really fun listen.

not as heavy as Shape of colour or older stuff, rather sterile production, this album has all of the cliches that come with an instrumental progressive metal record in the 2010s, I definitely see why people would think this record is sub-par or just not very good, but I personally enjoy it

Yeah, new song is alright. It needs to grow on you to become listenable, but visuals and tone were sick. I think mnemonic would have been good as just a song on the album instead of a single, there really isn't too much to it.
