I don't think I have no, I tend to avoid remasters so when I got that album I looked for the original issue

Gonna go look for the remaster if it's better

what is the difference between original vs remastered Streetcleaner? I'm not sure what version I've been listening to these years but then again I've never really had a problem with the sound aside from the fact that there is no volume that can be considered loud enough xD

"these years"... man... true enough that the remaster was released 7 years ago.

if you ever heard the ISIS remasters, then imagine it's done the same way where the drums sound fuller, the bass-end is more present, and it doesn't feel stuck in its released timeframe.

Okay yeah I'm listening to the remaster right now and this sounds a lot more like it, the guitars are still maybe a little too thin but that bass is so fucking good

Just feels a lot fuller

I don't really get your meaning on the guitars sounding dead thin though, they sound just as savage as they do on any other album.

so I've developed a small obsession with trying to penetrate this thing lyrically which is utter madness considering half the songs on here are totally impenetrable in that regard and it's basically impossible... hell I'm pretty sure I thought Mortality Sorrow was an instrumental the first time around

This sounds a lot more subdued from what I'm reading compared to that album.

It is pleb, but it's some of the best experimental shit they've ever done. The first three tracks are heavy as balls too
