I dont understand how their newest is generic. Sounds like their typical Fear Before/Me and Him Call It Us fare but with more influence from the late 90s/early 2000s melodic stuff ala Misery Signals and Poison the Well.
Also I personally love the spoken word parts but im a sucker for that shit in my core.

idk it just doesn't excite me the way Firing Squad did, seems like many songs rely too much on breakdowns and cookie cutter riffing, production is tight though and I do enjoy the screamers perforrmance for the most part
I get the comparisons but I feel like early Fear Before and the lot did the sound a lot better
