Enjoy, Dungeon. Both played great sets when I saw them.

I’d use a vannilice (a bloody ice cream) to kill a shuckle

Thanks dbizz, it's gonna be tough to top the last time they played Queen of Borrowed Light, Vastness and Sorrow, and I will Lay Down My Bones.. I don't want to know what they are playing on this tour until I see them, but I could have died happy after that last one. Very excited to see John Haughm on stage again as well.

I really don't understand how people don't like this album, it gets better every time I jam it.

Caught them last night in Richmond, and it was amazing. The only two tracks they played from this were Born from the Serpent's Eye (without female vocals) and The Old Ones Are With Us (without spoken word parts). Second time seeing them in a year without Aaron on drums though, not sure why he isn't touring. The drummer that has filled in both times is insane though. They also have Brittany Mcconnell from Wolvserpent on keyboards, who is definitely a pleasure to watch, and a 3rd guitarist Peregrine Somerville (Sadhaka). As always, they sounded huge, and I'm pretty sure I went in and out of a trance at least a few times. Not something you'd want to pass up if the opportunity strikes.

I saw Wolvserpent open for wittr on the celestial lineage tour and Brittany McConnell is amazing, watching her play violin and then beating the shit out of her drum kit was awesome. Good to hear she's lending her talents to these guys too.

that drummer's worked with deafheaven and dispirit so he def has metal cred in my books.

saw them in Brooklyn on Friday with Pillorian. Show was wonderful but it really is telling about the quality of this record when they played more stuff from Two Hunters than the actual record they are touring for.
John and Pillorian, despite not liking the debut, played a solid set. However, the venue didnt give them enough time to set up their equipment. To my surprise, John rolled with it like a champ.

I'm really happy they are still playing the two best songs off of Two Hunter's live. I'd imagine they are aware of how important that album was for them. I'm sure it's challenging for these guys to choose a set list when the majority of their songs are 10+ minutes long. They always manage to choose a balanced set, however, I really wish they'd play more Black Cascade live. I caught them on the Black Cascade tour, and that was excellent, but swap Prayer for Transformation with anything off Black Cascade.
