I've honestly never heard him make a statement about Facebook. I mean, I'm sure he can't stand it, but come on, if you're basing stuff like that upon a line he wrote for a character in one of his songs (at least I couldn't find anything else he said about it anywhere) then you're actually just making stuff up

That Facebook line just shouldn't have happened in any case. It's hypocritical how much criticism toward technology he says, while using it all the time to self-promote just as much as other musicians.

Yes Titan you should jam.

The Facebook comment is fine, but "IED" line is the only one that stood out to me as a bit awkward.

Wilson is an awkward dude. At this point its something we should be used to really.

His lyrics are just really on-the-nose and obvious like that a lot of the time. There's probably a more nuanced way to explore the mind and motivations of someone planning to commit a terrorist act, and he just goes for the most blatant and literal approach possible.

refuge is also amazing.

its pretty much as deep cuts said it. the first half is great and on the level of hand.cannot.erase then the second half falls downhill pretty drastically.

Never been the biggest Wilson fan, but this could be my favorite solo SW yet. Pretty great, especially the first half indeed.

First half might be a little stronger but I love Blank Tapes and the last two songs as much as anything on the first half.

Sorry, Stevie not a fan of this new pop direction. Although, Pariah is surprisingly good aside from that awkward fb lyric

Do you like Detonation? That second half blows me away every time. Brings me back to Signify.

I actually do, it's probably the best part of the entire album but I'm not a fan of the first third at all

Even the first song? That seems the most widely likable one to me.
