ayy beaut of a review, love how ya kept the theme on a leash in this one. language is beautiful as always and that "shouts out to Vampire Weekend" bit made me laugh

Awesome review. Haven't really maintained any feelings for this band at all since the Funeral/Neon Bible days, so I have no qualms with them trying something totally new and faceplanting. Liked 'Creature Comfort' when I heard it pre-release.

I feel like this album is a chore to get through on the first listen. It will probably take a few listens to really solidify where it stands as far as a rating goes. It might be too that I am listening to it right after I listened to Manchester Orchestra and didn't give myself enough time to "cleanse my palette" if you will. So far though this is about a 2.5-3 to me
