A lot of the music here is recycled, or just slightly modulated. This is apparent somewhere within the first 3 tracks, where it sounds like the same guitar chords are being used, just slightly pitched. And these songs all stay on for way longer than necessary. Decent for zoning out to but a chore to actively listen to

Can't argue with that, but whole album just works for me. Need to jam this in full again soon

The album's far from perfect but I gotta agree with Sandwich, there is something about it that just keeps me coming back, the atmosphere is really deep somehow despite a general lack of unique sounds and melodies compared to say, Hollinndagain. Could do without the up-beat stuff though, a bit too close to the Strawberry Jam etc. years for my taste, takes away from the experience.

Agreed, record's best when it allows for some buildup. Opener's still one of my favorite songs of the year
