I feel you. What's actually disappointing imo is the mix : too disparate from a song to another and sometimes lowers the quality (like on "Poseidon"). Not sure about the mastering tho but that could help!

Gave the album a full listen and I love it! I like the old school feel to it, no frills and overproduction. It's just a good beat and with a good flow over it. I really, really like Aphrodite. Great song all around. A few issues are on the production side. I know I said I liked it wasn't overproduced, but some tracks felt like it was lacking punch. Especially true for Hades. I felt like the drums could have been more pronounced and a little more in your face. Dionysus is my least favorite track. I liked the beat, but the vocals were off to me. Overall though, solid record and I agree with your rating
