Bloom and Marigold might be among my favourite song duos on albums

First time listening to it and I'm really impressed. In Contact was amazing and now with this quarantine, I decided to explore the rest of their discography.
Quick question, though: What is it that makes them suck live?

it was noted by the first commenter, that's why I ask. I saw some live videos the other day and I found them on point.

I don't get that comment tbh. Jim is a great vocalist who writes vocal lines he can pull off live. There aren't many live videos of them though, but they were always fine

Jim is an amazing vocalist. I first heard him from Arcane's Known/Learned album and later searched for his work with CH. He can pull off both fragile and dynamic vocal lines, and has a very distinct style.

Giving this a first legitimate spin. Real Opeth vibes in the first two tracks, vocals seem better than their other records here for some reason. Production is really nice too

Sometimes I randomly remember that Turntail exists and that always makes my day just a little bit better.
Best CH album

This is very much consistent with the album's title. But nothing beats the character IC's cover has.

Just starting to get into this band and this album has easily hit me the most so far out of their discography.

Definitely. Flows so well and stays interesting. Most of their stuff does, but this is another level.

About 2:30 in Dragonfly, Grey does a pretty sweet Jeff Buckley tribute.

He's got some serious vocal abilities. Would be cool to see him invest more time in creative runs like that.
