It's been almost two years now, and while this obviously doesn't hold a candle to THE FUTURE IS CANCELLED, I've definitely come around to it much more, and still revisit over half the track list regularly. The only song I really really don't care for is "Don't Show Bill." Here's how I'd rank them now, compared to my ranking back in June 2017 (parentheses show change):

I've come around a lot to "Books," which I think is an absolutely fantastic song now. Really, I love everything from 7 up. 8-10 are decent, but not bangers. 11 sucks, and is the only shit song between TFIC and TKONM, imo.

I still revisit this regularly. It will never be in the same league as TFIC, obviously, but I'm finding this more and more a worthy successor in its own, weird way each time I listen to it.
My 3.5 is honestly probably closer to a 3.8. Wish us plebs could do 0.1 score increments.
THE FUTURE IS CANCELLED PART II and HUNTING TRIP are top tier CWS tracks.

The band updated their profile picture on Facebook, which in 2021 means they are back together.
It looks like Bobby did a solo album that's being mastered. Someone asked about Captain recording and Bobby said if they are, it would just be two of them. Leo isn't returning, I assume.

Books is the only song I've taken away from this. Damn I remember being so excited when this released - I'm not sure I've ever been so disappointed ): I feel like some of these tracks are just thrown together - like with that Trying Year chorus - gahhhhh.
