Noise Pollution is killer (been digging it since it was released in 2016) but the rest of this did nothing for me.

His recommended tracks were my least favorite except for feel it still

Tidal Wave and Mr Lonely drag this thang down.

Otherwise this would be a solid 3.6

The album cover personifies this album perfectly. The singles are the only thing worth listening to off this. The cringy rap feature is definitely the highlight of this album.

My early reviews of this band may be a bit higher than if I listened to them now. Mostly because I listened to them a lot growing up. Anyways this is bad and it may be worse than Church Mouth, but idk I'd have to re-listen to it.

Not trusting your opinion because Church Mouth rules.

Lol yeah I should give it another listen sometime. I listened to it a long fucking time ago. I'm sure if I listened to it again I would enjoy it much more than this.

Well, to be fair, their releases are (were) so wildly different from each other that polarization is to be expected. But that's what I always loved about them most early on and luckily for me, I liked everything A LOT, up until American Ghetto and then it's been mixed results or meh.

Didn't mean to sound like a dick. Church Mouth hits the spot for me though. Especially just drinking whiskey on summer afternoons.

Well damn I'll re-listen to that shit tomorrow then. I think it's been like 6+ years since I last heard it. I don't care if you sound like a dick or not man I don't take it personally.

5 songs in and this is pretty much what I expected. Not impressed.

'This is Portugal. The Man’s biggest departure in sound yet'

I can't agree with that. They've been flirting more and more with this style since American Ghetto. This is basically the sound I expected so it's hard for me to call it a departure.

They should've just called this Coachella.

Pretty piss poor if you ask me.

Feel It Still is a great single. Rest of this was pretty underwhelming.

I agree. Easy Tiger and So Young are pretty okay on first listen and, to my surprise, I actually kind of liked Mr. Lonely, but the rest was bad-meh.
