Not that I'm defending him or anything, but he sounded more like an imitation than actually sounding like himself, which is more sad if anything. But yeah, his vocals on this sucked. And, as I said in the review, the lyrics to "Replaceable" irritated me to no end because of his blind arrogance of being awesome, when he's complete shit. haha He's certainly making Miller look good, that's for sure.

Considering the change to the lineup and how much I was a fan of Miller, I thought this was pulled off pretty well, even if it did have a bit of a Finger Eleven vibe to the vocals of it. If you are coming in expecting IDR vol. II (as Chad suggested) you'll be sorely disappointed. But if you take it as a reinvention of 3/4 of the remaining band, it's really not as a bad an album as you make it out to be. Would I rather them have stayed with Miller? I think any CKY fan would, but with his and Ginsburg's constant need for drama, that's never happening.

Finally checked this out and I actually liked it. The riffs aren’t quite as good but there’s still some good guitar work and they still have that classic CKY guitar tone. The vocals aren’t amazing but Millers’s vocals all sounded the same anyway so I don’t think it’s a huge loss. This definitely gets way too much hate. I think it’s better than Carver City
