great review man. a few random little run-on sentences here and there but not a big deal, easily fixed. you manage to tie together the personal and the musical very well, in a way few critics can

"Wouldn't call it a smokers voice by any means"

Heh, but you didn't disagree she has an old lady's voice. Wrecked.

I wasn't really either for the longest time I'm opening up slowly. As far as female fronted I've always dug Fiona Apple and Alanis Morissette.

idk if it's at the level of Pure Heroine, but this is def one of the best albums I've heard this year.

Wow she's trying pretty hard to be Kate Bush on Writer in the Dark.

She's never going to be as good of a singer as Kate Bush, just doesn't have the voice but tbh I think Kate is certainly an influence. And from the first listen I think she may actually have the songwriting chops to one day be remembered as one of the greats.

Supercut and Homemade Dynamite slay.

I only heard the first single and thought it was rather boring. Is the rest better?

the rest builds off green light in a pretty interesting way but the record definitely doesn't sound exclusively like it.

Sober is so beautiful, what a compelling delivery and an even more compelling instrumental backing
