Little things is a masterpiece, is like a mashup between U2 and temple of the dog. The atmosphere is sick as fuck and that ending is superb. Still A line in the sand is a better closer

i always thought they pulled off the u2 thing well whenever they tried it, especially on shadow iridescent and at the end of little things

bleed it out isn't very good tho. and leave out all the rest is bottom tier on here as well (still a good song but eh)

Bleed it out feels like an incomplete track, in fact even the band realized that and that's one of the reasons why that track had an additional outro and was used for multiple mashups in their live presentations

bleed it out is one of not too many songs that i actively dislike from the band. a lot of their other worst songs i just think are boring but that and a few others off oml are actually bad instead of just being dull

I have to admit, I did enjoy this album. I know it pissed people off at first, but this was one of my favorite albums by Linkin Park.

At first I thought it was a mixed bag, the good tracks were solid as fuck and as a whole the record was more enjoyable than the pop punk and the music for scene kids during that era but I felt dissapointed with the ballads. Relistened a lot this effort and it got better and I have to recognize this album is diverse as hell, still the ballads are bland and is a really messy effort.

Granted the ballads were a low for the album, but the album had energy and style. The early 2000's was saturated with alternative rock, but Linkin Park put their own spin on the formula and delivered. However, I did feel "Leave Out All the Rest" was a damn good ballad and was a definite high for the album.

Only bad ballad is "In Between"

The rest are good

The problem is not the quality imo but rather how the album is paced/structured as a whole
