On a plus note the old boy on the front cover looks uncannily like me grandad. RIP

Hope they get out of this not so great phase. I really liked them until Velociraptor! This last two albums are uninspired.. 48:13 was worse tho

Their debut was incredible, the albums after it had some great tracks but weren't great albums

Kasabian recently did a LadBible instagram takeover. I like Kasabian.
I have no hope of ever reconciling these two incompatible statements of fact.

This is shaping up to be their worst LP for me. Using the standard that all Kasabian have at least 4 - 6 great tracks, this has the bare minimum of 4 ('Ill Ray', 'You're In Love With a Psycho', 'TwentyFourSeven' and 'Comeback Kid'). The rest just refuses to stick with me. Bland as hell.
'Ill Ray' is just a fucking amazing opener though. In terms of pure energy I would bet it against any other song of the year.
