i mean it is kinda callow and mean-spirited i think, but also because comments have been deleted and context excised it does just look like i'm rambling periphrasticly about the State of the Union of Electroacoustic so i can understand her ire, but yeah i'm quite confident in calling her work electroacoustic and would put the house on it if i wasn't living, like most electroacoustic listeners i imagine, precariously on peoples couches
but it does draw attention to something i believe pretty strongly and that's that when you release music publicly it's gonna get appraised and dissected and analysed, but also be called 'good' or 'bad' in passing, and that's the way it should be if your music is in the public sphere. i mean she probably had to put a google alert on herself to find this comment languishing on the second page of an obscure review of a renownedly shitty mongolian fish-filleting forum, so beneath the arch she's as aware of this as anyone, and
