Wow, what a beautiful rework. Is it wrong if I like it more than the original album?

I think I'd be more inclined to try this if it didn't have such an unfortunate cover.

If you like the original album this has to deserve at least a couple of background spins

The album cover makes it look like one of those free albums you get attached to a Sunday paper

I'm amazed that the line "fuck me, I'm falling apart" manages to be just as soul-destroying here as it does on the LP. If I were a little more partial to the overall timbre of the set, I'd probably have this at a 4.

Yeah that's exactly the sort of thing I was thinking about Doof, it looks like a throwaway release.

Will probably throw this on at some point but I'm not prioritizing it.

Yeah I thought the original was perfect but now I kinda wish a couple of these versions were on it. All of me wants all of you, especially. The second half of that is orgasmic.

I've been looking to muster up enough courage to listen this this. Studio version fucks me up.

Listen to it. You (probably) won't regret it.

I'm sure I won't regret it. However, I'm not going to listen to Hotline Bling even if it's Sufjan playing it.

I'm waiting on that until I give Nick Drake a listen.

to be brutally honest i might've 5'd this if the Vesuvius clusterfuck outro wasn't there, felt very out of place

Saw Sufjan live on this tour, the album transfers over seamlessly to the live experience, and is tremendously enhanced by the home video footage and additional added aspects.
