I think it might be Graham, either way it's a great moment in an album full of them.

OK yeah, I just went back and listened to the last 2 minutes of Spacemen and I get it now. Definitely amazing, though I don't think Coxon is singing it, probably just pitched up Albarn's vocals. I'm not sure if Coxon provided lead vocals on any song on The Magic Whip

He definitely does the "land that time forgot" bit on Lonesome Street

thought it had some catchy tunes but felt more like a mirror aimed at music that went down in the past 5 - 10 years. they combined everyone's unique style with the same downtempo style from we are used to or either a style they already tried before on demon days or other good albums. good intro i guess if ur getting into music now but i dont think gorillaz brought anything new on this one

I feel ya typh, there's not much new for them here except maybe Hallelujah Money which a lot of people hate so I doubt they'll follow that style lol

it does feel more like a greatest hits than an album at times

I loved Hallelujah Money from the moment I heard it, Gorillaz and BC just work so well together

apprentice, we got the power, saturnz barz, charger, all incredible - this album is loaded with trinkets, but when it brings it to earth it's intense

i hear it's a grower but saturnz barz was one of my fav from when they teased the album and i got super hyped because I liked it and heard it like 15 times. I felt the rest of the album tied with, surpassed it slightly, or was not worth a relisten. 3.5 still means great though. this just feels like demon days meets a shit ton of ppl (many good collabs) from a shit ton of genres. which isn't necessarily bad but i like demon days as is haha. an LP not a collabofest
