"Mark is a great artist but I'm waiting for him to put out a landmark album. I'll Take Care of You, Bubblegum, and Blues Funeral are close for me but not quite classics."
Holy Ghost, man.

Holy Ghost, Field Songs and Bubblegum are all that for me.. or as close to a landmark as a lifelong indie label artist gets most times..

Anyone seen Mark live? What are his shows like? I'll be going today and have no idea what to expect. Not really familiar with his stuff past Bubblegum, and I don't imagine he plays a lot of his old material these days.

bubblegum was a cool album, nothing else he's done ever made much impression on me

@Pajolero He is great live!
A few years back I had the good fortune of seeing Dylan Carlson, Mudhoney and Lanegan live within like a ~3 month span.

That's sick! I actually saw Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam and Mark within the same week so I know how that felt haha.
And it was a great show by the way. They played like 25 songs from practically every record of his plus a couple of covers. Mark had a massive stage presence, even though he didn't really move all that much. Would love to see him again.

I love his work with UNKLE. I hope they can put more of that out in the future.
