The bass on here growls perfectly next to the shrieking guitars.

Gorguts - Colored Sands

Rosetta - Wake/Lift

Kayo Dot - Blue Lambency Downward

Krallice - Krallice

Mitochondrian - Archaeaeon

Panopticon - Kentucky

He's done a few Krallice and Panopticon albums tbh, he's also an active member of Gorguts too.

Rules so hard and has room to grow, slightly better than Labyrinth so far.

Thanks, Pleb. I've heard most of those but had no idea. I love Kentucky and Coloured Sands. Been meaning to check Krallice, I know I should have already been on that.

They get a lot of praise it seems. The first two 'similar bands' listed on their artist page here are Wolves in the Throne Room and Panopticon so I feel like I'm probably missing out.

Dimensional Bleedthrough is great. Agreed they do not sound like Wolves or Panopticon.
