Leprosy is really growing on me. There is something charming about SBG, though, that this album doesn't have. That said, "Left to Die," "Pull the Plug," are fantastic. I do think this album has less memorable songs, however. All in all, every Death album is at least a 4.

nah spiritual healing is the best imo. theres still traces of thrash here, SH is pure death metal with barely any other influences
they all rule tho obviously.

Spiritual is so so good, its not far behind this.
James Murphy KILLS it on that album, wish he would've stayed on a bit longer.
Mind you, Masvidal wasn't a bad replacement haha.

I agree with Hyp that SH is the best. Still brutal and intense, but also carrying hints of the more progressive direction they'd take with future releases. And the trade-off solo in Low Life is one of my favorite moments in the entire Death discography
