this is potentially the most forgettable (no pun intended) album i've listened to since Atlas Genius' When It Was Now. i cant remember anything about this and ive played it like 5 times.

2.5 would be average. average implies that there's music for me to have heard and said "this is mediocre/I've heard this style many times before, but it isn't poorly done." this is unratable because i can't benchmark it next to anything.

Oh okay, well at least you're not comparing strictly Brand New as seen in this review. I don't even like Brand New all that much, but I love this. And yeah, maybe they are sonically similar, but I much prefer the songwriting here, and the emotions on this hit me. Brand New always felt pre-packaged imo. But, I know most people don't feel that way, so maybe it's just an easy emo benchmark to compare to.

i guess they're both emo bands. but i know what brand new sounds like, idk what this sounds like tbh because i legit cannot remember anything except the single No Halo which was decidedly ok.
so i guess, yeah, if i were to just assume the whole album sounded like No Halo i'd call it a 2.5

yeah i actually wrote the review for it. also bruh did you see they changed the album cover for it? it's so plain now, im glad i got the vinyl with the chicks on it before that change. the demos they released were cool though, just waiting on the new album now
