"Underrated"

considering the heavy amount of 1's this has i think that's an understatement

also underrated implies there's value to this

Rating this 1.5 just becouse of the tehees. The meme has grown on me, kinda like it now lol. Dying in the Red Room is among the worst songs I've heard in a while. Also whats with the production?

Listen to the new Born of Osiris guys.

Unlike most people on this site, I actually loved You Can't Stop Me. Eddie's vocals were fantastic (I felt they were much stronger than Mitch's), and the band really went for the jugular with that album.

And then they give us this. I can understand the philosophy behind this album—digging back to their influences, choosing a raw, click-free, single-take recording approach with a producer they collectively admired, and mostly eschewing screamed vocals—but they really botched the landing with this one.

This album does have some great moments, to be certain, but you have to slog through a lot of questionable material to get to them. Equally disturbing to me is that when Eddie does scream, his performances sound much more amateur than what he tracked on YCSM and with All Shall Perish.

I laughed my ass off at Eddie's Vocals! It's bad when a song like doris has an intense 20 sec opener and then turns into complete shit afterwards. Deftone copycats.. Very bad songs man...

Always found this band average as hell, which is probably why this sounds more engaging to me than anything they've done previous. I understand why fans kicked off with the album, but it's really not a Lulu of a cluster fuck, it just ranges between average and bad -- largely the former.

Although, I will say the Chino/JD rip-offs are horrendous.

This album is a mix of some interesting stuff, plain bad stuff and all over the place stuff.
