Yeah Lasers was one of those albums that if you went in with an open-mind it wasn't completely revolting but there was definitely no getting around that it didn't really feel like "his" album and wasn't as consistent. This is about the same feeling. I didn't hate the first bit of trap-filled songs, but they don't feel like him per se so it's kinda weird.

Lasers is a fun record that spawned some all right top 40 singles, Show Goes On was a great college party tune. For his standards and in depth material beforehand it was a disappointment.

@IMadeAProfileForThis: This album was released under 1st And 15th, T&Y was his final album with Atlantic so DROGAS Light is his first on an indie label.
Don't know how rebooting LASERS would at all appease his fans or even his new label for that matter.
