haha i believe it. somewhat related, i've always wanted to rock a stealie bumper sticker but don't want to deal with the extra police attention

i had a SYF on my old Jeep and always got shit about it and negative attention. I have a Motorhead sticker on my Ram right now and have never heard a word about it.
the perception is so strange, in a negative way, if anybody had a clue, and not just BS publicity understanding of the band

yeah maybe in like 20 years the SYF will lose meaning to that generation of cops, but i think most still know what it is today. i guess it depends on how the current jam scene continues to grow or fade. i haven't really been a part of the local scene in the last few years but to my knowledge it's still going strong. i just saw a pack of teenagers wearing Dead apparel a few weeks ago at the park. whether or not they actually listen to Dead or if it was fashion, i'm not sure

the local scene in my little town is pretty strong, a couple of good bands, and others. It isnt really an issue around here anymore, but I limit my public association, with me you wouldnt have a clue unless you knew me, with my job it is better that way.

most definitely, i work in IT-related stuff so my work place is actually relatively chill but i definitely keep that particular interest to myself for obvious reasons

Sad that it has to be that way

dead bears are definitely more low key than the SYF as far as flying the flag goes
