I really like "Attack on Memory"; the album after that, however, kinda slipped past my radar for some reason or another. I'm going to listen to both "Here and Nowhere Else" and this today and try to figure out where you are coming from. Two listens of "Life Without Sound" and I really don't see the negativity... the last two songs are both really great imo, and the rest is fine, if not remarkable.

Deadwing - 'Fine if not remarkable' usually equals a 2.5, a 3 at absolute best, for me.
The last song almost bumped it to a 3 but overall I'm disappointed with it and it deserves to be a full 1pt behind 'Attack' which I have sat on a 3.5

holy shit did not expect that Ash comparison hahaha. I kinda like Ash especially the song Walking Barefoot. still need to listen to Attack on Memory in full. No Future/No Past has been a jam of mine for awhile. this doesn't sound very promising. also the review reads like a 2

Big Tuna I saw them open for Dino Jr. about 2 months ago, they were the best act of the whole night. Definitely worth the 20 imo.

Ash?! wow, that's a blast from the past. Almost thought they were gonna be great so many times--but didn't quite make it . . . This is a good album, but not great. It's easy to listen to, but not good enough to make me want to listen again. I'll give it a 3 because it's not actually bad. I think my 3 is about equal to your 2.5 Doofus, so I think we are in agreement on this one.
