perhaps I phrased that poorly and too generally. of course 5 minutes of music can be astoundingly good, and a short album of excellent songs would be far better than a longer album of average songs. what I was trying to get across in the context was that I would enjoy 20 minutes of Nails and FoH of songs more than 5 minutes of Nails and FoH songs of the same quality i.e. I consider these songs to be on par with their other songs in their other projects, but I think their other longer, equally consistent projects are better as they have more material

Agreed with Asleep. No way I'm going to rate 5 minutes and three tracks the same as a full album of similar quality material, even if it is pv.

I'm gonna say FOH peaked for me on the Merzbow collab. Nails maybe on Abandon all life. owen, I'm also very bummed that they aren't a hardcore band anymore. Both groups feel like pretty straight ahead deathgrind on this. Also, nice College Dropout dig Scuro.

Full of Hell's drummer is an absolute monster. Interested to see how the double bass works out on the new album.

I agree. Dave is an absolute machine for playing at 220+ bpm with a single kick. I'm honestly kinda disappointed at the change. I loved how minimal the kit was before but he's adding more cymbals and a kick. Still, I'm sure it'll work out fine. They're my favorite active grind group right now.
