The album would be significantly edgier if Amon Duul II hadn't used the title over 40 years ago.

maybe but I worry that bogging the review down w/ too much context will overwhelm the 3 or 4 ppl that might actually read this review A to Z

not comparable obv

and did you hear the entire thing? this is pretty on par with ambient noise wall. it's more about the prolonged sensation and aftereffect. not that it couldn't be considered bad nonetheless but IMO ppl aren't really giving it a fair shake and/or it just inherently isn't their bag

i listened and it didn't resonate in the slightest im afraid

but yeah, you may be right. i will say this was offputting for me though in that it was extremely monotonous and uneventful to endure.

i didn't listen to the whole thing uninterrupted, i skipped ahead a bunch of times, and just generally felt like i was wasting my time

a big draw to noise wall music in general is the sensation it can evoke over a long period. doesn't mean it's too highfalutin for you, but.. I mean, it is kinda important to let it marinade

as for the album title, maybe it's just tongue in cheek. idk. it's pretty common for noise artists to use somewhat comical/obscene titles like that. haven't interviewed the person who made this so I have no clue why that was their choice

not mine either but it's still not a 1/5 imo. Those windy sounds in the second track are neato.
