Scarred indeed. the only album that makes you feel like a complete worthless pos caught up in a bigger even more worthless and twisted pos society. I need to review this one.... filthy.. dirty.. genuinely scary and "real"

This album is amazing. I loved Self Help and then I listened to this for the first time last year. I hated it. It really is an uncomfortable listen. It's unsettling. I wouldn't listen in the dark with headphones. Track Marxist is what gets me with Jim Jones yelling in the background and all the poor people from Jonestown screaming.

I always knew the story of Jonestown but when I looked deeper into what happened, this track scarred me. I listened to the actual audio recording of where Jim Jones is forcing the people to take the cyanide flavor-aid. The bastard forced the kids to take the flavor aid first, and on the recording you can hear them screaming.

Anyways, horrific stuff. Other than that track, I adore this album now. The band did exactly what they set out to do. This may be the darkest album I've ever listened to.

Any Chariot fan should be listening to this.

I've listened to metal for a while now and these are still some of the bleakest lyrics I've read, no gimmicks, just straight up nihilistic.
