I love the timbre of that chorus of Closer, and the drums--it has a rhythm that's not like anything else on the radio IMO even if all the sort of genre trappings are there

I definitely don't hate what I've heard of this but I am genuinely surprised that it is so popular. Don't think I've ever had one of their songs caught in my head or anything

Really not understanding what is so bad about this. It's super bland and all but not like offensively bad.

Tbh that drop in Don't Let Me Down IS offensively bad. Ruins what the build up created IMO. I don't think this is horrible though.

yeah like i said their buildups have a real nice melody and they tend to ruin it with their drops, the remixes for Don't Let Me Down are real nice though, specifically the W&W and Illenium ones
