Waking the Fallen was fantastic, but City of Evil and the Self Titled was this band's peak for me. City of Evil was perfectly produced, and had the best instrumentals. Self Titled was this band throwing everything they could muster on the table creating an experimental masterpiece.

I love the self-titled don't get me wrong, but WTF just does everything right for me. Self-titled is where Shadows sounds the best imo, plus The Rev has more vocals in it and wrote some of their best tracks being Afterlife and A Little Piece of Heaven. But Waking The Fallen has Chapter Four, Eternal Rest, Second Heartbeat, and I Won't See You Tonight Part 1 & 2. It's hard to say anything but WTF is their best for me

You basically named my favorite tracks off of Waking the Fallen (forgot Unholy Confessions which is one of my other favorites)
But the self titled has no weak tracks, also Dear God is arguably one of this band's best ballads.

Self Titled showcases all this band's best qualities, has some of the best performances in their discography, and has a wealth of experimentation that really works with the band's natural sound.

It's a wonderful country influenced ballad with fantastic instrumentation, solid production, nice lyrics, and a great vocal performance.

Lost is by far my favorite from self-titled tho, that is like 4 and a half minutes of super fun guitar work

Lost is one of my favorites; although I'm not sure which one is my absolute favorite from the Self Titled, I love all the tracks so much.

Yea there isn't a track that I dislike from the self-titled. The one I like the least tho is probably Unbound because of the kid choir

Hey just want to confirm, is the rip on spotify just bad and CD actually sounds ok, or is the production actually this bad? For real, compare it to Nightmare on spotify. The difference in sound quality is massive.

sound is dramatically better than nightmare unless you are fond of compression
everything is fucked on spotify though so its not much to judge by

Spotify has been fucking up a lot of releases lately from what I've heard. Even one of my albums sound a bit wonky on there.

M. Shadows looks like Daddy Yankee.
