I only recently even heard of this band and find them to be incredibly weird. Some of the middle songs on this album are really good, I liked Frozen One, and the songs from Deception through Exposed are pretty solid. The rest is rather unpleasant. The chorus from Young Robot is incredibly annoying and won't leave my head.
It seems like this band has some sort of massive, rabid fanbase that worships these dudes Will Swan and Tillian, which is a bit offputting. I like Tillian's voice but it seems kinda wasted on a band like this, and the guitar's not really all that interesting. A band like Ling Tosite Sigure wipes the floor with these dudes.

DBM2 is mostly okay for me, but Need Money is a top 5 DGD song for me. Some of the most erratic Mess lyrics, the horns and energy are fantastic
