Nothing man, like all things it's your opinion. The review is well written, but his vocals are monotonous on this. They were more varied on Contradictions Collapse/NONE era, but I can't say the same for my first listen through this.

Yeah, the vocals have never been the best part of this band. They're better here than they were on Koloss, though, that's for sure.

Clockworks

Bu the Ton

Our Rage Won't Die

Those are my three favorites as of now, but my favorite Meshuggah tracks are always changing so who knows what it will be a month from now.

They're my favorite band so I'm slightly bias since I love literally everything they've ever done, but I'd place this in my top 3 albums by them. Glad to see so many other people digging this as well, and glad to have a new convert in Moge. But how does one not love obZen?

Only on the first track and I already dig it way, way more than Koloss and obZen.

Dunno why people are saying this is uninspired, easily more progressive and ambitious strong structures compared to Koloss.

I could never really get that into Meshuggah until I heard this LP

Given the song lengths it gives the band a chance to be more multifaceted and not repeat as many of the same grooves, maybe that's playing a part man.
