absolutely fantastic album (although i'm usually a sucker for this kinda music) but kinda disappointed they seem to be reducing the influence of their hardcore roots. eros nearly perfected the "converge meets juliechristmascore" style imo and i wish they would've stayed on that path

i feel like there are good sections that are atmospherically intense, even solid whole songs. but for me a lot of the songs are overlong and have draggy sections where she sings, i find a lot of that stuff ruins the momentum. also not a fan of her melodies/vocals for the most part. i like their debut better even though theres definitely material on here that showcases the best of their songwriting, though I feel it also displays the worst of it
