Amenra arent a band about technicalities and massive changes within a track but more so the subtleties. Its more so Atmosphere and feeling. Its trance like. Monolithic. The clean sections are a breather and time for a reflection before it pounds you down again. The whole thing is a purge and I get totally how some people find it monotemos because if you dont really get that feeling from it it would come across samey, I know all musics about feeling but.....

Yeah I get that’s what they were going for & it mostly succeeds, I’d just prefer a little more variety at times. You could argue that if that was the case it’d be a different album altogether (which is fair) but I’m not evaluating this based on whether Amenra achieved their goal, but simply by how much I personally enjoy it.

Yeah sweet, Thats just what they do as a band. Theres nothing vastly different from Mass3 onward in that sense. But theyre all 5s for me. If its not broken and all that...Allthough I think 4 is better as there isnt a weak song on it where as the closer on this is the only 'weak' track on it for me but the opening 3 songs are still as good as it gets.
