Has anyone here listened to the 2 bonus tracks? Better than at least half the tracks on the album imo

Very well written, even if I have to disagree with a lot of it. Acutally I think that the middle section of the record with songs like Sorceress 2, The Seventh Sojourn, even Chrysalis (some parts) is pretty bland and far below Opeth standards.
And I don't speak about "being metal", I just think in terms of quality.

"fuck i got banned on rym for refreshing the page too many times"
lol that is stupid. Usually these things have a reasonable explanation though. It may be the ads pay per view, and so the ad companies imposed a refresh limit to not be scammed into paying.

From what I have heard this will probably be a 2.5 - 3 for me, hopefully they do something original after this one.

"“Era” and the tumultuous title track have the band rocking harder than ever."
Good lord.

This is growing, albeit slowly. Somehow really liking the t/t more than when it first came out. And yes, other songs as Wilde Flowers and Will O the Wisp growing with each listen. Chrysalis is THE jam here though. Doubt this will be a true 4 for me but it's solid.

This is probably their best retro prog outing, but it still lacks an original charm and appeal.
