I liked this a lot, although not as much as their debut. Miss Your Face, Modern Love Affair, and Eiley were my favorites

Mostly agree with this aside from calling emarosa generic pop rock. 131 was hardly generic and nowhere near poppy

it was to me, still don't understand why people liked it so much, I thought it was awful.

For as good as Eiley is, the instrumentation is still just so uninteresting.

131 was awesome but not as good as this.

I thought the singles were pretty standard for them, but they were catchy as hell. Hopefully this will live up to their debut.

Yeah, only halfway through the album and it's pretty underwhelming. Sucks cause I really enjoyed their debut. It was so catchy.

the second half is a lot better though, the last three songs in particular are great

Hope so. I was very worried when you said it was like an entire album of Hell To Pay, since I hated that track from their debut.

Edit: Yeah so, this album was a disappointment. Most songs are forgettable, and some are just plain bad. That said, Eiley was fucking heartbreaking. This album would've been a 2.5 of not for that song.

I preferred this over the debut by a mile.

And Hell to Pay was my favorite track from that, lol.

@Sempiturtle I can see why someone would prefer it over the debut, but I come to TCTT for killer hooks, and I feel this album didn't deliver on that front.

Debut was much better, but this is still pretty good

I'm kinda torn with this album...the hooks are actually there. Sympathy, Crooked Smiles, What I Wish I Could Forget, Miss Your Face and Eiley in particular, but I guess it's the instrumentation behind it that makes it sound kinda blurry and too unoriginal

I dunno, I think this album is better than their debut. Their debut had more discernible standouts but I feel like that's because the rest were more lackluster. Here all of the songs are more consistent though Eiley is definitely the best song on here.

I also think this is probably better, but gotta see if it's enough to make a difference in rating.

Translate is actually my favorite chorus on the album, I love the melody.

I really enjoyed this album. Great singer. Kind of "generic" but it's catchy. Eiley and Inside Voices both great

"great singer" - never watch them live if you really think that

I was front row for them at Warped (they played first and no one else was really on) and he was pretty good especially in songs with lots of screaming like Hell to Pay.
