well don't make silly comments like 'drums r so g00d'. Tthe drumming here is basic metalcore drumming and not at all inventive or noteworthy, so mentioning it at all is pretty pointless. Listening to this now and there's nothing instrumentally noteworthy about this. It's just melodic metalcore a la early In this Moment but with much worse vocals and production that makes everything seem slightly muffled for some reason, which cuts off the power some melodies should have. No way this is more than a 2.5. I will give whatshisname credit tho since his cleans aren't nearly as aggravating here as on their later releases, but his harsh vox are still lulzy.

Oh man, I still remember the first time I heard his harshes on Knives and Pens. Up until that point I was totally on board because I liked his cleans well enough.
