this band is an embarrassment to prog
thijs van leer is rollin in his grave
|
| |
Riffing on tracks 1, 4, 6 and 7 is pretty addictive. Rest of the album is easily the worst the band has put out.
Recommendation made me laugh.
Art looks more like Ghost Thief imo.

So far this albums seems quite a bit better than their last. Not as good as their Crippled Bull EP, but a good step forward. For Red Cloud is such a great opener

I 3.5'd their last album would I dig this?
|
| |
It's different to TWoS. More bleak and introspective, more clean vocals and fairly one paced throughout. I dig it but as a comparison to the last album I'd say same same but different in that it's recognisable as them but dissimilar.
Short version - give it a blast, you've nothing to lose.

cept ur valuable time
check sacred blade instead

The debut felt more like a collection of songs, while this sounds more like a complete album.
Still prefer the debut, but if you 3.5'd it, you will probably have little issue here.

Belie the Machine is "filler" ?? Best song on the album IMO

Really??? Fuck that's even worse.
But they managed to get $13k from supporters within 15 hours so that's great.
