Hated the idea of this (cash grab?) at first - but now the dust has settled and these versions rule ass

Yeah liking these versions much better since I was never much of a fan of "1996" and "
Missing You" anyway
"Brother's Song" is a bit much tho, think I prefer the original of that one

These versions are better, except for maybe the verses in Brother's Song.

It's funny to look back now that we have the glorious LP5 Science Fiction in hand. Moreso, obviously, than "Mene" or "I Am a Nightmare", these reworkings were a sort of indication of what the new album would sound like. The new album only bares slight resemblances to the Leaked Demos for sure, but these along with the others are probably Science Fiction's closest relative in their discography.

"Missing You" and "1996" are two of my favorite songs in their whole discog tbh
The riffs on the latter in particular are grade A stuff

It's such a shame one of their best songs isn't included on any album/ep. They could at least went like they did with Fork and Knife and release it as a single. Oh well.

Yeah Nobody Moves is one of their best songs period, should have been on here

I hate to admit that I just found out a few weeks ago that there was a higher quality reworked version of Nobody Moves and it blew my goddamn mind. Been listening to the shitty leak version for the past three years, always wishing it had been a little more polished. I'm now comfortable calling it a top 20 BN song.

Appreciate the love Sowing. That song is in top 3 Brand New for me.
@Buttboy I own the original mp3 they made available online for the cassette purchase. I can upload it if you'd like. I hate how it's still technically a B-side and never got a proper release, though.
