TDAG does have a couple weaker tracks, lyrically, but I wouldn't necessarily say that they're "bad". Brand New is a pretty well-rounded band, as far as quality on all fronts go, but I would also have to disagree and say that if I had to pick one strength of Brand New, it would be lyrics.

Depends on how burnt out they are. They're not oblivious to their legacy and the cult following they have - they'd probably rather bow out with great re-worked demos than an album not worth their fans' time.

yeah but they also probably realize their fans want new material, which is why they are (hopefully) re-releasing old stuff AND putting out a new album
