Is this essential or can I just keep listening to the amazing stuff they've already put out without missing much?

I mean if you're a fan of the band I don't see why you shouldn't jam this

I'm listening to it at some point. I was just figuring out whether I should prioritize it or listen somewhere down the road.

Yeah, second track, half onwards it gets really frantic, pretty cool. Would like to see this played live actually.

same. i bet its only a matter of time; in an interview regarding this album, toby stated that in contrast with how he approached creating choirs and dowsing, he's no longer trying to make things sound as "big as possible", but instead have the recordings be on par with how they would sound live.

While I think Coffins On Io is much more enjoyable for me personally, I still enjoyed this album a lot. This one needed repeated listenings for me to fully get into the album's sound. I saw them live shortly before the album came out (Magnetism and Amalia's Theme were premiered at that show) and again after its release and both times I thought those songs translated just as well live if not better.

Both of Toby Driver's new songs from his upcoming solo album. Both are fantastic, the hype is real:

That Cravens Dawn song...is that the song that was known online as "Aurora"? Cause I know that KD played an unreleased song live for awhile and that Toby mentioned in an interview when asked about "Aurora", he had no title for it yet and was originally a ballad of his that KD would play live. The press release for Madonnawhore mentioned this song features performances by members of KD so...probably?
