I enjoyed This Is Exile for what it was (and I'm no opposed to DC here and there). I'll have to check this out today at the gym.

I bet the shittier songs will sound better pumping iron than they did on my couch. Have you heard anything since Exile?

Don't expect this to be amazing but I am a huge fan of their early work so I'll give it a shot

The Somantic Defilement is so damn tasty, I can spin that record any time and get a devilish smile going

Not sure why this band is still around. I'm just waiting for another JFAC album to see if they'll do something sweet again.

I find that this band is a lesser version of so many other bands that existed prior. Maybe it's just that it's deathcore...

I had a few tracks from their S/T on my workout playlist, but I really only listened to their first two releases heavily. This wasn't bad; some of the slower songs will find their way into my "3 listens and never again" bucket.

"Bands liiiiike who?"

All Shall Perish and Despised Icon come to mind. They were the first ones I really recall blending DM into Metalcore.

Well, those two were around first yeah, but I feel like they all got better around the same time. I do love me some ASP and DI- can't wait for Beast, I'm already sure I'll be enjoying it more than this.

Yeah, I only ever heard 1 Glass Casket- can't remember the name- but it is pretty good. We Gather Here Today or something?

Lowering my rating; stale is the perfect word for this, Phil needs to kick this band back into gear.

Tremors is the worst Whitechapel song I've ever heard.

It's probably the weakest song here, but I wouldn't go nearly that far.

I prefer their faster stuff but as usual, I will heap praise on their current drummer bc he is a great.
