I'd argue this is slightly more inconsistent than Emotion so far, though I haven't given it many listens yet
It all depends on whether we're counting deluxe editions or not also

Run Away with Me is still #1 tho

This bitch is so vain it's unreal. Thinks she's God's gift to singing just cause she was in her school choir. Boring, generic voice

Into You has the most perfect pop chorus I have ever heard. Good God it's majestic.
Pretty harsh to say "finally" lives up to her potential when she's only been in the game for 4 years and is still extremely young. I mean Taylor Swift arguably only just now has reached her potential, and she's been in the game over a decade. I'd cut her a bit more slack.

who gives af about ego in music
it's not like listening to this album is taking her on a date or anything
|
| |
the transition from "into you's" bridge to the final chorus is so lazy. the one flaw of this perfect pop song

I admire the fact she didn't put Focus on this album
Good song but it's a straight redo of Problem
That's something resembling artistic integrity, holy shit

Nicki Minaj seems super proud of her new style when some fire rapping probably would've fit the beat better anyway
on the other hand lil wayne is still garbage

I don't mind Focus that much.

@Lucid yeah man it's almost perfect, but that part is disappointing. That and the stupid production washing out the word "for" at the end of the line "so tell me what you came here for" in the bridge. It could have been a huge moment if they had let her rip on that high note and left it untouched. Instead, Max Martin decides to fade it off into the distance like you would with a weak, Selena Gomez-esque voice.
