I was hoping they'd wind up being like the perfect blend of metal and Michael Jackson esque vocals. idk how it would work but I thought they had a good start with the EP then the debut sucked ass.

I honestly loved Blue Wall, Michael's screams are really good in that song. Tyler's rapping isn't that great, but it fits the song. My top three tracks are Coma, Flojo, and Blue Wall, with The Realest being among the top

Blue Wall is the most generic track on here, the lyrics are cringe, and there's nothing instrumentally or vocally interesting on it.

This is easily the best thing they've ever done. Their first two records were trash. This actually has some above decent writing and all the musicians stepped up their game. This isn't amazing by any means but it's a few steps in the right direction for them. It's a borderline prog album with the elements it uses.

Only downside is the filler tracks and the screamer, he shouldn't sing anything. And apparently the screams I'm Blue Wall that sound amazing are the guitarist. Honesty they could drop him and have the guitarist scream instead, soo much better. The Realest, Flojo, Hero and Blue Wall are all great tracks.

tbh tho if I would have listened to this with headphones or laptop speakers first I probably would have stopped after 2 songs and give it a 1. But it kinda slaps in the whip

I don't like this as much as their debut, but it's still good. Definitely interesting.

should i listen to the debut even if i thought the singles for it were all worse than most of the songs on this album? it's just a much more boring sound than what they've got going on here and Tyler improved a lot on here

My girlfriend loves this band. Their first album was pretty awful imo, but this one has some bangers

I love their first album, but this is a lot better though.

The production held the first album back a fair bit.

It helps when the reviewer has some knowledge of the genre they are reviewing. Not one mention of Djent. Kind of gives the 2.5 rating away really. Best stick to what you know really.
